Art and Conversation is a friendly gathering for women high school age and above who are in recovery from the experience of sexual violence in their lives. Food Not Bombs. 6:30 pm, ECU Building, 1204 Oread. Come join the Food Not Bombs, Lawrence Chapter meeting and learn how you can be a part of distributing free food to people! Meets each Monday.

Grandparents Kinship Support Meeting. 4 – 5:30 pm Redeemer Lutheran Church, 27—N. Lawrence Ave. Meets every 1st Sunday.

Hermes Peace and Justice Library. Moore Reading Room, Smith Hall, 1300 Oread Ave. K U Department of Religious Studies Hours 9 am - 5 pm, M-F while school is in session and 9 am - 1 pm when it is not.

Latino Community Coalition Lunch Meeting: 12 am, Community Health Facility, 200 Maine St.. Held every first Thursday.

Lawrence City Commission Meetings: 5:45 pm, City Commission Room, 1st Floor, City Hall, 6 East 6th St. Agenda available at https://www.lawrenceks.org/agendas Meeting are not usually held on the 5th Tuesday.

The Lawrence - Douglas County Housing Authority (LDCHA) meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 pm. The meeting rotates between Edgewood Homes (1600 Haskell Ave), Babcock Place (1700 Massachusetts), and Clinton Place (2521 Clinton Pkwy). National Organization of Women, Lawrence Chapter - 7 pm, Conroy's Pub, 3115 W. 6th. Held each first Monday of every month.

Solidarity! Radical Library: Open every week day from 10 am to 2 pm, Upstairs at the ECM Building, 1204 Oread. Solidarity! Radical Library and Revolutionary Center is home to over 5,000 books, zines, DVD's, CD's and newspapers, covering subjects from urban gardening to philosophy, quantum physics, to queer studies. It’s also a community space to host discussion groups or plan actions! Staffed by volunteers.

University Forum: 12-1 pm, ECM building at 1204 Oread. University Forum, held each Wednesday during the academic year and is free and open to the University and Lawrence community.

Veggie Lunch: 11:30 am – 1 pm ECM Building, 1204 Oread. Held each Thursday. Everyone is welcome for a tasty vegetarian lunch Thursdays. Veggie Lunch is a time to connect, meet others, and learn about what is happening at the ECM and KU.  Volunteer cooks create vegetarian dishes for all to enjoy. Wheatfields donates bread every week and it's free for people to take home.  Lunch donations requested ($1-$3) and gladly accepted! All proceeds go to help our Veggie Lunch program GROW!
