Wescoe Beach, 1445 Jayhawk Blvd.
This is an opportunity for you to speak out about your experience and thoughts about rape culture on campus. We will be standing on Wescoe Beach from 2-5 pm on February 21. We welcome anyone from every walk of life. It's time to stand together and bring to light the issues at hand. "What matters right now is this: we're each of us standing here, together, alive, together." - Beth Revis As a reminder, this is a peaceful protest. No yelling, fighting or vulgarity is allowed. To be taken seriously, we must remain civil. There will also be an opportunity to be included into the "Sick of This" photography project that will be displayed at the Commons in April for Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
